$2M Revenue. Living Like a Student.

Ben McAdam

Kevin was doing just over $2 million a year.

You’d think things were pretty comfortable.

They weren’t.

$2 million of revenue looked good from the outside, but Kevin described it as living on a student’s budget.

The cash was coming in, but almost all of it was going out.

We didn’t go looking for more sales.

We looked at where the money was going, found the big issue, and shifted to better revenue, not just more of it.

Kevin went from $2 million/year in revenue, underpaid, no idea what was going on with his numbers, to $7 million a year.

His margin had more than doubled, meaning he kept way more of his revenue.

He had a proper income, and he bought the house he really wanted.

Growth didn’t slow down when we fixed profit. It accelerated.

Kevin was able to increase his take-home pay and increase the amount of money he was spending on marketing and growing his business.

The key takeaway: revenue can look impressive, but profit is what actually changes your life.
